ASD expands footprint with new Perth State Office

Last week the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon. Richard Marles MP officially opened ASD’s new Perth State Office.

This expansion strengthens ASD’s position as a world-class intelligence and cyber security agency, and helps us build a more resilient footprint around Australia.

As our workforce grows, new locations are becoming available to ensure our expert and dedicated team can utilise facilities which enhance their capabilities to deliver on our duty to protect Australians and our national interests. This facility will be conducive to forging strong partnerships with industry and maintaining the trust of the Australian public, which enables us to perform our role.

Perth is the first State Office established under REDSPICE, supporting and growing teams already at work in Canberra. Through the REDSPICE program, and with the ongoing support of the Australian Government, we continue to build towards the delivery of forward-looking capabilities that are essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond.
