On 31 March 2022 and 1 April 2022, the National Carillon at Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra was illuminated with the Australian Signals Directorate's colours to mark ASD’s 75th anniversary. For two special nights, the 50-metre tower was lit in blue, reflecting brightly on Lake Burley Griffin and lighting up the night sky. It was the first of many events celebrating 75 years of ASD’s rich history and unique contribution to protecting Australia, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
